Way to go Alex!


Alex Anderson, a Radio Newscasting finalist from Pendleton Heights High School, does his live stint on UIndy's WICR-FM/HD during the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters Annual High School Competition at the University of Indianapolis' studios on Monday, March 8, 2010. Seventeen high school students took part in live radio and TV competitionsfrom 10 a.m. to noon on Monday. Previously, 21 other non-live competitions were held to select winners in categories such as sportscasting, production, writing and interviewing. About 500 high school students registered for the IASB Conference and awards ceremony on UIndy's campus on Monday. (Charlie Nye / The Star).
