The snow dog

Timber is just loving this snow. I think it is so funny to watch her play in it when she is not on her leash. Her attack training seems to vanish right now when she is playing in the snow. I take that back, when my son takes her for a walk and someone comes near she is VERY protective. This is the exact reason why we got her. She still has a lot of growing and learning to do but even as a pup I wouldn't cross her. But she sure has become a part of this family. We rescued her from animal control. She is an all cream German Shephard. We seem to be saving lots of things this year! :)

Rub-a-dub-dub

Every time we go visit Daddy Cameron immediately says he needs to take a bath! He says he wants to take a bath in the swimming pool. It cracks me up. I mean look at that tub. How can you not want to get in it. It just looks so inviting. I mean I don't know if it screams to me that I need to get out the goggles and swim caps. LOL! But turn on those jets and everyone gets lost in those bubbles!

Snow Play

Playing in the snow.

Waiting for summer so she can play in the water.

My little man eating the snow.

Snow, snow and more snow. We weathered the ice storm first and then came the snow. Of course, the snow was the most fun. We bundled up into our snow gear and headed out to play. All we need now is a snowmobile. I'm sure that will come in due time! I guess when the lake water is frozen is a time you can actually meet your neighbors on the other side of the lake and walk there! Snow is so pretty I just wish it wasn't so cold to play in. I prefer my sun and heat!

Christmas

Christmas dinner was so incredibly good. I wish we ate like that every day.

Santa's Oreo's and milk. We also left Rudolph a carrot to keep his energy to deliever all of the toys.
My dream Kitchen Aid mixer. I have always said that you are set in life when you own one of these. And now I do!
Daddy and Cameron building with some legos.
Cameron was so excited to get coal out of his stocking!
Brianna got the skateboard that she wanted.
Chandler got a new skateboard since his got stolen out of our front yard.

Lots of lego fun.

Showing some love to her new doll that pee's!

It was so great to visit with Daddy and spend our family Christmas. We had such a wonderful holiday. Things were tight finacially this year with all of the expenses that the year brought us. But God couldn't have given us a better gift then to have our Christmas with all of our children. So the end result was completely worth it. We are planning on moving shortly to be with Daddy all of the time. Then we can get back to our life as usual. But the kids had such a wonderful morning opening up all of their presents. It was a beautiful day with snow on the ground and listening to all of the playing. I'd like to give a special thanks to Daddy for my dream mixer. Now I know that my life is set. I can now pass that down to one of the kids when they get older. I am so glad to have something valuable enough to pass down and start new family traditions by using it every holiday!

Truly Blessed

Reactions:

It's looking a lot like Christmas. The kids are getting so excited to open presents. They keep begging to open up just one. They get under the tree and shake all of the presents to try and guess what they are getting. They think they have it all figured out. They just love sitting by the tree. I just love those little smiles. God has truly blessed me this year to be able to have all three of my children home with me. And it will be like that forever!

I think it is so weird to have a China Town in so many large cities. But the food is always great in each one of them. They are so much fun to visit.

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Reactions:

The water is soooo cold right now. Oh, how I can't wait until it is nice and warm to be floating around on a raft catching some rays. Going to tie my raft up to the dock and stay there for hours. And it is gorgeous when the sunsets on the water at night too. I will be spending lots of nights out on that dock!

"I am a sailor, you're my first mate.
We signed on together, we coupled our fate.
Hauled up our anchor, determined not to fail.
For the heart's treasure, together we set sail.
With no maps to guide us, We steered our own course.
Rode out the storms when the winds were gale force.
Sat out the doldrums in patience and hope.
Working together, we learned how to cope.
Life is an ocean and love is a boat.
In troubled waters it keeps us afloat.
When we started the voyage there was just me and you.
Now gathered round us we have our own crew.
Together we're in this relationship.
We built it with care to last the whole trip.
Our true destination's not marked on any chart.
We're navigating the shores of the heart."

The Cloud Maker

I can't help but smile everytime I see these things. My kids love to call them cloud makers. When we fly and see them looking down from the plane we always make sure to point them out. It is simple things like this that make me smile from the pleasure of having my kids with me.

My Little Ballerina

My daughter makes the most beautiful ballerina. She is absolutely stunning and to watch her perform makes me cry. She loves to dance. Pretty soon she will be starting cheerleading. Daddy is going to have his hands full in several years. It is also a good thing she has some protective big brothers.

This was the last rose out in the yard. It survived one or two freezes and just wouldn't die. It kind of reminds me of me. When you are fighting for something so beautiful you just don't give up.

Just look at that smile

Reactions:

Just look at that smile. You can't tell me that she isn't happy about being pregnant. Actually, I know she is more happy about being extremely close to her due date. That happy smile just draws me in. She is simply gorgeous is all I can say. I can't wait to see the stunning little boy that is going to be just as good looking! She couldn't lay on her back for very long without that little boy cutting off her airway. I mean you lay on the ground with a bowling ball on your belly!

Christmas Baby?

Reactions:

I absolutely love pregnant belly's. The most amazing thing is happening inside of that belly. A human life is growing right before us and it is a suprise for us to see the finished result. A true blessing from up above. She looks incredible! And I can't wait to see this baby boy born. He just might be a Christmas baby boy!

Here is a picture of my oldest son standing up against the new house. It is really chilly with the lake effects. But it was such a beautiful sunny day. I'm only sad that his eyes are a bit squinty. He is such a handsome young man. His Dad and I are teaching him how to be a ladies man. And so far he is doing an excellent job with his Mommy!!!

This is my entry for www.iheartfaces.com. I know the contest is for sweet dreams but I loved how my daughter wanted to take a little nap by the pool. She is a sun bathing diva like her mama! She took a brief nap by the water with sunscreen on of course! ;) I'm sure of course she is having sweet dreams with the sun on her face and the sounds of the water!

This quote is so true. This is my special little boy. He was planned on being brought into this world and yet I didn't plan on him being quite so wild. lol! It just goes to show you that each one of us is wired completely different!

Dangerously Handsome

I have had the greatest of luck in working with some of the most gorgeous kids. This little boy just looks like he needs to be on a Gap commercial or something. So natural. He did such a great job considering it was so cold outside and it started to rain. But you can't tell at all.
