Boating fun

Our son said we never have to leave our neighborhood to feel like we are on vacation.  And he is right.  I am very much enjoying my weekend off of work.  Next week we will be going to the ocean and leave the neighborhood!  Hopefully, all of the sunburns will be gone by then so we don't burn on vacation and be miserable.

Wow, I have been so out of sorts lately.  I need to get organized to get myself back on schedule.  I am having a hard time with so much on my mind.  I can't wait until school is over so I can get adjusted to that schedule.  I am so ready to go on our family vacation.  I am really needing one.  I can't wait to lay on the beach with the sand between my toes.  We are going to have a blast! 

Friday Confessions

I am super excited to celebrate my sons birthday.  He is having a cooking party.  All of his guests are going to be making pizza and cupcakes.  Sounds like a blast.

Why will a man never understand his wife even when you clearly spell things out for them?

Do kids always have to argue with each other?  I mean seriously.  Can brothers and sisters get a long for one day?  And I mean a day that they are all spending together. 

I have got to start updating my blog more often again.  I try and get side tracked.  But sometimes it feels like no one reads it unless I am signed up to a linky of sorts.  But I will keep blogging.  It is a great stress reliever.

Mom n Me Monday

This is my oldest son.  We were having such a good time waiting for the show to start at Medevial Times.   I am pretty excited that my husband picked up the camera and included me in the fun! :)

New Hair

I haven't posted anything in a few days.  I have been busy running the kids here and then running them there that when I sit down at the computer I just don't feel like doing much.  My brain doesn't want to function properly. 

Well, Daddy was pretty upset with me that I cut off all of our daughters hair.  But I go so tired of fighting with it in the morning before school.  She just hated it and complained.  She has wanted it short for a while but we all knew how much trouble we would be in if we cut it.  But I drew the line and said lets cut it.  It grows so fast that by the end of the summer it will be long again. 

But it looks so cute.  She looks so grown up now.  And I can see a lot more of her personality.  Which is wierd but you really can.  It really suits her.  I want to do it to my hair now.

I just think the sun flare shining thru is so pretty.  It really makes the flower light up.  I got a little dirty taking the photo too with this angle. LOL!  But I thought it was all worth it.

 This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter.  I took her and her friend to this field of flowers so I could take their picture.  They looked so cute with the bright yellow wildflowers.  And just look at that smile!  She was having herself some fun!!!

Top Two Tuesday

Top 2 Things You Splurge On 1)  I splurge on buying Coke.  I also don't like to share it with anyone either.

2)  I splurge on things at the grocery store.  I don't know why but I always come out with more then I went in for.  I don't buy clothes or make up.  I tend to buy all my extra's at the grocery.

 

I sure wish I could splurge more on myself.  But having three kids it is kind of hard to especially on only one income.
