Every Family Has Nuts
I think these photos that were taken of my family are so us. My daughter and son helped take them. Which makes them even more fun. I love how these pictures show our family personality. That we all love each other and have fun with one another. It's so nice to be able to be ourselves. I try to raise my kids allowing them to be who and what they want to be. I will not tell them they have to go to college and become doctors or that they have to play sports. I will not tell them how they have to wear their hair. I feel that is an individual choice. It is my job as a mother to raise them with morals and the knowledge of knowing right from wrong. I love how we are all so different in our personalities and yet bond so well as a family.

Recipe for Love
Take a little bit of me
And a little bit of you
Add an entire decadeAnd a little bit of you
And all that we've been through
2 cups of loyalty
generously sprinkled with trust
A pinch of forgiveness
And laughter is a must
Blend a smile, a kiss and
Holding each others hands
Add this all together
Between a woman and a man
Stir in two hearts
Sprinkled with adoration
Stir it all together
And you get a good foundation
For Love.
Attitude
I have a little collection of photos to work on of these girls but here is a preview. They are way too cute and full of attitude. And I'm not ashamed to say they get it from their mothers! They have been best friends for quite a while now and when they get together you better expect trouble. But one thing for sure is they sure are cute!!!!

Friday Confessions
- I am going to my class reunion this weekend and I have to mentally prepare for it because I don't like crowds and have a paranoia of people.
- I cut my hair this week and got quite a bit cut off and I like it because now I feel more like a mom.
- Some people really bother me in how the word "family" doesn't mean anything to them.
- Sometimes I get so sick and tired of being the "go to girl" at home and feel sometimes it would be nice if I had someone to go to.
- Sometimes I wish that I still smoked (I haven't now for 6 years) because I miss turning to a cigarette for my release outlet because now I turn to food.
- I'd rather hear the truth then an excuse.

you capture
This weeks challenge was to make a black and white photo. I can't help take pictures of my daughter. Her smile always brings me joy when I look at her. Not too mention she is wearing my Barbie cowboy hat from when I was a little girl. They used to make toys so durable.
We need to say to our daughters: Don't let images on TV define what you are worth, I expect you to dream without limit and reach for your goal!

Top Two Tuesday
THINGS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE
1) Right now I'd like to purchase a cute little car. I'd just like to have a small car to say it is my own. Right now I drive a mini van and my husband drives a monster truck when not riding his bike in the summer. I'd like to have something fun that I can consider mine and not a "mom" car!
2) I REALLY want to buy a Yorkie. I can't have anymore kids and so I want my own little puppy to baby. It just seems that every time something in life happens I either give away or sell things to make life easier. I know that this is what a parent does but as you can see I'm in selfish mode and would really like to have something that I've always wanted which is a lap dog.
If the crown fits
She is my little model. And her tshirt is so true. "If the crown fits". She wears her crown very well. Sometimes I have to compete for it! She is so silly and innocent. It is really fun to watch her grow! So I have taken so many pictures of her over the short years of her life. I think she will expect it when she gets older too! lol!

Some before and afters
Here are some before and afters of two of my childrens bedrooms. They have been gone this week and I did some summer cleaning in their rooms. I painted my daughters room a little bit. I think the best part is how she will love the chalk board wall. I should show the upclose and personal dirt I found in my sons room but I am a bit embarrassed that it was that bad.
I truly hope that it stays this clean for at least a week. I spent so much time painting and cleaning this week.

Yesterday's model
This was Timber's first time out on the boat. She wasn't sure at first but ended up enjoying herself. We have to get her ready for our camping rafting trip. I think she will be ready!

Yes, I cage them
You know some days you just have too!!! :)
3 words you should say to your kids every day " I Love You".
Fighting in front of your children is wrong in every way because you are teaching your kids how to abuse, disrespect, belittle, name call, rage and give up!

My son's bday cake
Kitty Litter Cake
1 (18.25 ounce) package spice or German chocolate cake mix
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 package white sandwich cookies
1 large package vanilla instant pudding mix
Green food coloring
12 small Tootsie Rolls
1 *NEW* kitty litter box
1 *NEW* kitty litter box plastic liner
1 *NEW* pooper scooper
Prepare cake mixes and bake according to directions (any size pans).
Prepare pudding mix and chill until ready to assemble.
Crumble white sandwich cookies in small batches in blender, they tend to stick, so scrape often. Set aside all but about 1/4 cup.
To the 1/4 cup cookie crumbs, add a few drops green food coloring and mix using a fork or shake in a jar.
When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble into a large bowl. Toss with half the remaining white cookie crumbs and the chilled pudding. You probably won't need all of the pudding, mix with the cake and "feel" it, you don't want it soggy, just moist; gently combine.
Line new, clean kitty litter box. Put mixture into litter box.
Put three unwrapped Tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until soft and pliable. Shape ends so they are no longer blunt, curving slightly. Repeat with 3 more Tootsie rolls and bury in mixture.
Sprinkle the other half of cookie crumbs over top. Scatter the green cookie crumbs lightly over the top, this is supposed to look like the chlorophyll in kitty litter.
Heat remaining Tootsie Rolls, 3 at a time in the microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle with cookie crumbs.
Spread 5 of the remaining Tootsie Rolls over the top; take one and heat until pliable, hang it over the side of the kitty litter box; sprinkling it lightly with cookie crumbs.
Place the box on a newspaper and sprinkle a few of the cookie crumbs around.
Serve with a *new* pooper scooper.
Makes 12 servings.

It was such a fun cake to eat and talk about! However, some people felt a bit uncomfortable eating their dinner with this as the centerpiece on the table!!

Tech Support For Installing a Husband
When marriage get's frustrating, it sometimes works to have a little humor. Every once in a while, try laughing at the things that irritate you, because you should know, we all deal with our share of marriage frustrations.
Here's a funny for you...
Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?
Signed,
Desperate
———————
Dear Desperate,
First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter the command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html, download Tears 6.2 and be sure to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If those applications work as designed Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.
However, please remember that overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (It runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)
In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0-program. This is an unsupported application and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.
Good Luck!
Tech Support
